Our Inspiration
As parents, our children’s challenges often become our own. One such challenge was when our son had difficulty holding a traditional crayon. His enthusiasm for expressing his world through colours was creating frustration. This simple problem led us to question – why should a tool of creativity be a source of struggle?
Introducing Dråpe. A New Crayon Design
In response, we decided to innovate. We crafted the Dråpe shape, a crayon design that’s friendlier to small, eager hands. But our commitment didn’t stop at usability. We felt a responsibility to our children’s future and the world they’re growing up in.
Sustainability – Crafting with Care
Our vision was to craft eco-friendly, ergonomic crayons that would support our children’s artistic endeavours and be gentle on the environment. The result, Dråpe Crayons, thoughtfully designed to fit comfortably in little hands and inspire young minds.
As parents ourselves, we understand the importance of instilling a love for nature and a sense of responsibility for the world around us. Our commitment to sustainability informs every aspect of our business, from the materials we use to the practices we adopt. Our crayons are made on our island of Ellingsøya, right here in Norway.
